Dr Junlong Shang, Principal Investigator
Junlong is an Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer (permanent) at the University of Manchester. He was an Assistant Professor (permanent) at University of Glasgow. He has more than a decade of research/ teaching experience in Rock Mechanics and Geomechanics. He is a recipient of the ISRM Rocha Medal and Marie Curie Fellowship. He was a Future Leader Member of ARMA, and has been serving on the editorial board for several prestigious journals in his field, including Scientific Editor of JRMGE (Elsevier), Editorial Board Member of RMRE (Springer) and IJRMMS (Elsevier), and Associate Editor of Smart and Green Mining Engineering. Junlong holds an EPSRC New Investigator Award.
